Before Xavier:
Arrived at Xavier from Castle Rock, Colo., where he lettered for three years. A right-handed thrower, Williams led Douglas County High School to back-to-back 5A regional playoffs while racking up 61 strikeouts in 60 career innings pitched. During 2014 summer ball, Williams pitched 49.2 innings and kept a 0.87 ERA to go with 53 strikeouts. Williams has also played on the varsity hoops team at Douglas County and is an avid hunter.
