Cam Miller joined Xavier Athletics as the Director of Operations for Men’s Basketball in 2022. In his role on the staff, he’s directly in charge of the hiring of student managers and oversees the walk-on program for the Musketeers. Along with that , he’s involved with underclass recruiting, all video coordination, scouting, player development, and summer camp coordination.
Before his time with the Musketeers, Miller graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Management and a Sports Management Minor Certificate. During his time at Arizona, he was involved with the Men’s Basketball team as a student manager. Prior to arriving at Xavier, Miller was a Graduate Assistant for the Saint Mary’s Gaels Men’s Basketball team under Head Coach Randy Bennett in the 2021-2022 season. St. Mary’s earned its first-ever No.5 seed in the NCAA Tournament where the Gaels lost to UCLA in the round of 32. During his time with the Gaels, Miller focused his attention assisting with Player Development, Video Analysis, and summer camp coordination.
Miller, the middle son of Head Coach Sean and Amy Miller, was born in Carey, North Carolina. His brothers are Austin and Braden. Miller is a graduate of Salpointe Catholic high school in Tucson, Arizona where he finished his basketball career as a 1000+ point scorer.
