Chaese Vaudrin joined Xavier in 2021 as the new Director of Basketball Operations.
“We are excited to add Chaese Vaudrin as Director of Basketball Operations,” said head coach Travis Steele. “He comes with a wealth of experience running camps, hiring staffs, creating graphics, and working with video. He will have a seamless transition here at Xavier due to his experiences. He brings a tremendous work ethic along with being very organized.”
Vaudrin joins the Xavier Men’s Basketball Staff after spending two years with the Hoop Group. Vaudrin joined the Hoop Group as an intern in the summer of 2019 and was brought on full- time as the Director of Skills and Middle School Tournaments in September of 2019.
Vaudrin graduated from Geneva College of Pennsylvania in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While at Geneva, he was a 1000-point scorer and four-year starter on the men’s basketball team. After graduating from Geneva, he spent a year as a varsity men’s basketball assistant coach at his alma matter, Uniontown Lake High School.
Vaudrin and his wife, Mckenna, reside in Cincinnati.
