Paxton Wong is the Graduate Assistant for Sport Performance following three years as an undergraduate student manager with the Xavier Men’s Basketball team. Last season, he served as one of the team’s head managers, leading the student managerial team.
Wong coordinates all team meals and oversees inventory management. His responsibilities also include assisting with lifts, maintaining the weight room, and supporting team activities.
As an undergraduate student manager, Wong helped execute team practice plans while providing clock management. He also organized team equipment for travel and assisted with game day operations. For the past three summers, he worked as a coach at the Sean Miller Basketball Camp.
Wong is from Boston and was a three-sport high school varsity athlete at The Brimmer and May School, serving as the basketball and soccer captain during the 2019-2020 season.
Wong graduated Summa Cum Laude from Xavier University in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with minors in Advertising, Business, and Finance. In addition to his current role, he is also pursuing an MBA.
