As A Senior (2018)
Played in 15 matches with 13 starts... logged a career-high 885 minutes in the midfield... scored a goal and added an assist for three points on the season... took seven shots, including three on frame... scored first career goal in XU's home opener against Cincinnati Christian on Aug. 24... assisted on Felix Boe-Tangen's second goal in a 5-3 win against Butler to help XU clinch a playoff spot on Oct. 31...

Prior to Xavier
Sutherland becomes the third New Zealand native on the roster, joining Cory Brown and Alex Ridsdale. He has extensive playing experience, helping his team to a second-place finish in the Wellington Central League as starting midfielder for the Western Suburbs. Sutherland trained with the New Zealand National Teams in preparation for the U-17 and U-20 FIFA World Cup and competed in the Mediterranean International Cup in Spain, playing against Barcelona FC's youth team. He was also recruited by Milwaukee and Drexel.
