Daughter of Myron Blackwell and Georgeann Wells Blackwell... has three siblings, Curtis, Kasey and Lynise... majoring in sociology... her mother, Georgeann, played collegiately at West Virginia and professionally overseas... her mother is the first woman to dunk in an NCAA basketball game, accomplishing the feat in 1984 against Charleston (W.Va.) and Xavier... cousin, Sylvia Crawley, was a standout at North Carolina and also played professionally overseas, in the American Basketball League (ABL) and in the WNBA... Crawley also won the women's ABL Inaugural Slam Dunk Contest (1998) with a blind-folded dunk.
