Churchill Odia Decides To Transfer

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University head men’s basketball coach Sean Miller announced today that freshman guard Churchill Odia has asked for his release.

“Churchill Odia has asked for his release,” said Miller. “He has decided to transfer and pursue other opportunities. We wish Churchill the best with his future as a student-athlete.”

Odia, a native of Lagos, Nigeria, played in 25 of Xavier’s 29 games this past season, averaging 8.8 minutes per appearance. He played just four minutes in the last six games combined. - XU -
