Herbert Day's Solid Afternoon Propels Men's Golf Into Third Place After Day One of the XU Invitational

LOVELAND, Ohio - Junior Herbert Day shot rounds of 74-68 - 142 (-2) to lead the Xavier University men's golf team into third place after two rounds of the Xavier Invitational, which is being played at the par-72, 6,921-yard Oasis Golf and Country Club in Loveland, Ohio.

Day sits in a tie for eighth place after two rounds while teammates Alan Glynn (143) and Sebastian MacLean (144) are hot on his trail.

The Musketeers enter Tuesday's final round just six shots behind Akron and four behind Marquette. Tomorrow's final round is set for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun.
