Over the past three weeks fans were able to vote on what they believed to be the top 10 games of the Decade of Dominance. As part of the celebration leading up to Saturday's Musketeer Madness, games 11 through 16 will be exclusively unveiled at GoXavier.com. One game will be unveiled every day beginning Monday Oct. 18 and concluding prior to the start of festivities on Saturday Oct. 23. The top 10 games of the Decade of Dominance will be announced as part of Musketeer Madness, celebrating the start of the men's and women's basketball seasons.

Xavier took a break from Atlantic 10 Conference action for a national TV clash with the Florida Gators.Xavier's front line came up big in the win. Senior Jason Love scored a game-high 20 points, hitting 9-of-12 from the field, to go with 10 rebounds while junior Jamel McLean grabbed a career-high tying 13 rebounds and sophomore Kenny Frease scored 12 points.
The trio helped Xavier win the rebound battle 44-36. Another key statistic was that XU had only seven turnovers against Florida's pressure defense.
Xavier dominated the early part of the game, cutting through the Florida pressure and running out to a 16-point, 32-16, lead with seven minutes left before halftime. Love scored 14 of those 32 XU points. Florida closed the gap to seven points, 40-33, at the break. Xavier led 47-40 with 16 minutes left before Florida used a 9-0 run to take the lead at 49-47 with 12:27 left.
Florida enjoyed its last lead at 52-50 with 10:47 remaining. Xavier took the lead back for good with a 7-0 run that was capped off by a three-pointer by junior Danté Jackson that put the Musketeers on top 57-52 with nine minutes left. Sophomore Jordan Crawford once again came up big in the second half, scoring 12 of his 18 points after halftime.
