Glynn Finishes in a Tie for 28th; Men's Golf Takes 11th

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Alan Glynn finished in a tie for 28th after firing rounds of 76-71-76 - 223 (+10) and the Xavier University men's golf team took 11th place at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, which was played at Ohio State University's par-71 Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
Eastern Michigan's nine-over par 861 was good enough for the win, while Penn State's Kevin Foley took medalist honors with an eight-under par 205.
Sebastian MacLean was five shots off Glynn's pace and carded rounds of 75-79-74 - 228 (+15) to finish in a tie for 44th. Kieran Lovelock was just one shot behind MacLean with rounds of 79-75-75 - 229 (+16).
Peter O'Neil (230, +17) and Herbert Day (233, +20) rounded out the scoring for Xavier.
XU will be back in action on Monday, April 19 when the team competes at the Crooked Stick Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind.
