Levi Earns Fifth Top-Ten Finish at Cowgirl Classic

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Rachel Levi carded an 11-over-par 227 to finish in the top 20 for the fifth time this season at the University of Wyoming Cowgirl Classic held at the par-72 6,108-yard Ocotillo Golf Course in Scottsdale, Ariz. XU finished eighth going 50-over-par (300-314-300—914) which gives the Musketeers the tenth top-10 finish off the 2009-2010 campaign.
Levi carded a 74-79-74—227 (+11) to finish tied for 19th place. Senior Mary Beth McKenna and junior Audrey Fellmeth finished right behind Levi in 24th and 25th respectively. McKenna shot rounds of 76-78-74 finishing one shot behind Levi. Fellmeth had a consistent score card with rounds of 77-75-77 to finish one shot behind McKenna.
Breanna Patz finished tied with Michelle Winkler for 42nd place. Patz’s score card read 77-82-75—234 to finish 18-over-par. Despite shooting a team-low round of 73, Winkler had rounds of 83 and 78 to leave her tied with Patz.
