Xavier (12-5, 3-1 Atlantic 10) won its third game in a row, defeating St. Bonaventure (9-7, 2-2), 77-64. Mark Lyons led all scorers with 21 points. Tu Holloway added 12 and Brad Redford chipped in 10. Dez Wells grabbed 9 rebounds and Andre Walker dished out 7 assists. Saint Bonaventure was led by Andrew Nicholson who scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Eric Mosley had 4 assists.
With today's win, XU is now 157-20 (.887) all-time in its 12 years at Cintas Center, including 80-10 (.889) all-time against Atlantic 10 competition. Xavier currently has a 42-game home court winning streak in A-10 play, which stands as the longest in league history. XU was 8-0 at home in A-10 play in each of the last five seasons.

Andre Walker dished out a season-high 7 assists. His previous high was 5 at Fordham (1-7-12). He tied his collegiate career high, which he turned in against Florida (1-9-10) while playing for Vanderbilt.
Brad Redord scored a season-high 10 points. His previous high was 8 points at Fordham (1-7-12). It was high first double-figure scoring game since scoring 11 points against Fordham (1-31-10).
Jeff Robinson scored a season-high 13 points. His previous high was 12 points against Duquesne (1-11-12).

Up Next: Xavier welcomes Saint Joseph's to Cintas Center on Wednesday, January 18, for a 7:00 p.m. game. The Hawks lead the all-time series, 21-18, but XU has won the last three meetings. Last season, XU defeated Saint Joseph's at Hagan Arena in Philadelphia, 74-54. In that game, Xavier went on a 10-0 run near the end of the first half to take a 34-27 advantage into the break. The Musketeers blew the game open with a 12-1 run during the middle of the second half and were never challenged again. Mark Lyons led all scorers with 24 points, while Kenny Frease recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Tu Holloway chipped in 14 points and had 7 assists.
