Men’s Golf Heads to Indiana for Crooked Stick Intercollegiate

Carmel, Ind. – The Xavier men's golf team travels to Indiana today for the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate. The 12-team event will be held at the Crooked Stick Golf Club. The Pete Dye designed course will be playing 7,516 yards and par 72.
The 12-team field includes the host team Indiana, Ball State, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, IUPUI, Kentucky, Northern Illinois, Notre Dame, Purdue, Toledo, and Xavier.
Xavier was last in action October 5-6 at the Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio. The Musketeers finished fourth out of 16 teams after shooting a combined score of plus three as a team. Freshman Daniel Wetterich and sophomore Jose Montaño both finished tied for 12th.
The 54-hole tournament is scheduled to begin on Monday at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start and continuous play for 36 holes. Tuesday's final round is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. with split tee times on holes one and 10.
