Senior Crutchfield Ties for Third, Team Finishes Fourth at Rutgers Invitational

Piscataway, N.J. – Senior Shane Crutchfield has yet another top 10 finish this fall. Crutchfield finished tied for third individually after posting a final round score of 74 (+2) at the Rutgers Invitational today. The St. Petersburg Florida native put together her best tournament of the year thus far, with a total three round score of 226 (+10).

The Musketeers as a team finished tied for fourth; shooting a 316-315 the first two rounds on Friday. The team fired a final round score of 307 to finish with a combined score of 938 (+74).

Sophomore Lindsay Murray made a final round run up the leaderboard. Murray was tied for 27th going into the final round and finished tied for 12th after shooting a final round 74 (+2). The Tipp City, Ohio native also had her best tournament of the year, with a total three round score of 79-81-74 [234, +18].

Sophomore Nina Kulkarni finished 23rd overall. The Dayton native shot a final round 83 (+11) for a three round total of 75-81-83 [239, +23].

Sophomore Hanna Lee finished tied for 29th. The Cincinnati native shot a final round 79 (+7) for a three round total of 83-80-79 [242, +26].

Junior Rachel Johnson finished tied for 39th. The Nashville native shot a final round 80 (+8) for a three round total of 84-82-80 [246, +30].

The golf team travels to Kiawah Island, South Carolina next for the Palmetto Intercollegiate on October 25th.
