Events with the Cardinals set to begin at 5 PM
CINCINNATI - Xavier swimming returns to action on Friday when the Musketeers travel to Louisville to face off with the Cardinals. Events are scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Ralph Wright Natatorium.
This is the first dual meet for the Musketeers after opening the season at the Butler Quad last Sunday. It's the first meet against outside competition for the Cardinals, who held an intra-squad meet on Oct. 2 as a tune up for the season.
This is the fifth straight season Xavier has traveled south to challenge itself against one of the strongest swim programs in the country. Stay tuned to GoXavier.com for results after the meet.

The Xavier men came away from last Sunday's Butler Quad meet, held in Fishers, Ind., with a team win over Evansville and three first place finishes. The Musketeers were third in cumulative points among the four men's teams competing with 592.2 points, less than 12 points shy of leaders Wright State's score of 603.5.
Rodrigo Suriano led the way in scoring for the men's side, taking first in the 50 free (21.20) and 100 free (46.27). Suriano also took the first leg of the men's 400 free relay that took first place to close the meet. Suriano, joined by Erik Biernat, Enrique Hernandez and Luke Johanns, posted a time of 3:06.80 in the event.
The Louisville men will finished last season ranked No. 10 in the country in the CSCAA Coaches poll, and earned a 15th place finish at the NCAA Championships.
