Xavier in 13th After Day Two at Rio Verde Invitational

RIO VERDE, Ariz. - After two days of competition in Arizona, the Xavier women's golf team stands in 14th place at the 18-team Rio Verde Invitational. The Musketeers have a two-day total of 619 (+19), 28 strokes behind leader Seton Hall.

Hanna Lee leads the Musketeers, moving up seven spots to a tie for 26th after shooting an 8-over-par 76, matching her first day total to bring her two-day total to 152. Shane Crutchfield shot a 10-over 82 on Saturday to stand in a tie for 56th with a total of 156/74-82 (+12).

Rachel Johnson moved into a tie for 64 after shooting a 79 (+7) to bring her two day total to 157 (+13). Grace Howie also has a two-day total of 157 (T64) after shooting a 78 to go with Friday's score of 79.

Abigail Smith shot a round of 83 to bring her total to 163 (80-83) to stand in 89th place.

The final round of play begins tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start. Stats will be available from GolfStat.com.
