08.23.15 | Swimming, Community Service
CINCINNATI – Xavier University swimming coach Brent MacDonald announced the signing of Shelby Rosser today at Cintas Center. Rosser, a 12-year-old Cincinnati native, signed a national letter of intent to join the Musketeers.
MacDonald says Rosser has a great streamline and tempo to his stroke and looks forward to Rosser helping the Xavier men's swim team as they look to win a third-straight BIG EAST Championship. Rosser says his favorite part about winning championships is the "rings."
Rosser's recruitment was orchestrated by Team IMPACT, an organization that connects children facing chronic or life threatening illnesses to college athletic teams in an effort to improve their quality of life. Rosser deals with Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome or CVS.
