Musketeers wrap up tournament play tonight vs No. 19 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Xavier volleyball moved to 2-0 on the weekend with a five-set victory (25-15, 21-25, 25-20,19-25, 15-8) over Coastal Carolina on Saturday afternoon at the Aloft Seminole Invitational. The Musketeers improve to 4-4 on the year, while the Chanticleers move to 4-2.

Xavier wraps up tournament action tonight at 7 p.m. at No. 19 Florida State. The Seminoles enter the match with a 4-3 record.

Kristen Massa and Abbey Bessler led the Musketeers with 16 kills each, while Massa added a .351 hitting percentage. Brooke Betts, Lauren Frilling and Sofia Peterson all posted eight kills in the win.

McKena Estes posted her first career double-double, leading the team with 20 assists to go along with 12 digs. Mackenzi Humm also added her first career double-double with 19 assists and 12 digs.
