WMU Invitational a Done Deal for Men's Tennis

KALAMAZOO, Michigan – Men's tennis completed its third tournament of the fall, coming away with a doubles championship and a 7^th place finish in singles.

In doubles, tandem Jack Dykema and Brian Carman earned championship notoriety in Flight C after defeating Dylan Steffens and Christoffer Greve of Illinois State, 6-4.

In singles, a handful of Musketeers competed for marked finishes. Freshman Jack Dykema, however, was the only individual to earn a marked finish by defeating Egehan Sertkaya, 4-6, 6-3, 10-6.

Xavier now holds a fall tournament record of 24-21 in singles competition and 7-7 in doubles.

Men's tennis will back in action at the ITA Regional set to begin October 15^th in Tennessee. More information regarding the ITA regional will be available on GoXavier.com.
