Women's Swimming Hosts Bowling Green

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's swimming opened up the home slate for the Musketeers by hosting Bowling Green on Friday at O'Connor Sport Center. Both the men's and women's squads return to action on Saturday with the first of two trips to Cleveland State.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Emily Saugstad touched the wall first in the 100 free with a time of 54.45.
Ashley Whiteley scored in the top spot for the Musketeers in the 50 fly and 100 IM.
Xavier took the top spot in the 200 free relay, with Paxtyn Drew, Caroline Gaertner, Abby Garner and Emily Conners with a time of 1:37.78, out touching the Falcon's "A" team by over two seconds.
The Musketeer women fell by a final score of 141-111.
