Women’s Golf Heads to Connecticut for Yale Women’s Fall Intercollegiate

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Xavier women's golf team travels to Connecticut today for the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate. The three-day event will be played at The Course at Yale, which will be playing 6.749 yards and par 70.

The eighteen-team field consists of the host team Yale, Columbia, Boston College, Boston University, Brown, Cincinnati, Dartmouth, Fairleigh Dickinson, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Seton Hall, South Alabama, South Florida, Stirling, Towson, Tulsa and Xavier.

Head coach Breanna Patz is sending the whole team to compete, as it is Xavier's fall break. Mikayla Fitzpatrick will be in the number one position, followed by Rachel Johnson, Grace Howie, Lindsey Murray and Mikayla Smith. Nina Kulkarni will be competing as an individual.

First round is set to begin Friday morning with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. The tournament format is stroke play.
