BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Xavier women's tennis team blanked the Owls of Florida Atlantic, 7-0, to go undefeated on its annual spring break trip.

2. Cristina Di Lorenzo (XU) def. Cassie Pough (FAU) 6-0, 6-0
3. Amina Ismail (XU) def. Marisa Ruiz (FAU) 6-1, 2-6, 6-2
4. Alex Brinker (XU) def. Bianca Biglione (FAU) 6-3, 0-6, 10-5
5. Lauren Ghidotti (XU) def. Jennifer Leib (FAU) 6-4, 6-2
6. Sophia Abelson (XU) def. Heather Walton (FAU) 7-5, 6-2

RESULTS: DOUBLES

1. Sydney Liggins/Amina Ismail (XU) def. Lyndsey Boos/Ana Gutierrez (FAU) 7-5

POST MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

This is the third time this season that the Musketeers have blanked an opponent. The other times that this happened was against Eastern Michigan and Northern Kentucky.
The Musketeers are now on a four match win streak, improving thier record to 9-4.
This was the second time this season that Florida Atlantic has been swept by its opponent.

UP NEXT

The Musketeers will get their first swing at a conference opponent next weekend as they travel to Georgetown and Villanova for matches on March 18 and 20. Both matches are set to begin at 10 a.m.
