Top Xavier mid-distance runners set for weekend races
CINCINNATI – Xavier track and field continues its outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays hosted by N.C. State on March 25-26. The two-day meet is being held at the Paul H. Derr Track.

"When I was planning the 2016 outdoor track season, I came up with three invitationals that would really push the girls and guys on our team that are ready to compete at the next level. The first of those three meets is this weekend at the Raleigh Relays, where we will race some of our top mid through long distance girls as well as two of our mid distance guys."
"Along with several individual events on Friday, we will be running the women's 4x800 on Saturday. The 4x800 this weekend should give those girls a great opportunity to get ready for the Penn Relays in April."

Gina Genco – 5,000-meter run
Sarah Mazzei – 5,000-meter run
Allison Sinning – 5,000-meter run
Caterina Karas – 1,500-meter run
Nolan Daniels – 400-meter dash

Xavier continues its outdoor season at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational hosted by the University of Cincinnati on April 2.
