Senior Shane Crutchfield Finishes in Top 10 at UALR/ASU Women’s Golf Classic

MAUMELLE, Ark. – The Xavier women's golf team concluded the final round of the Little Rock/Arkansas State Women's Golf Classic this afternoon. Shane Crutchfield finished tied for seventh individually after a final round 73 (+1). The senior led the team in pars on her way to her fourth top-10 finish this season.
Xavier, as a team, finished in eighth place. The Musketeers shot a combined score of 312 (+24) in the final round, their best score to par as a team during the two-day event.
Mikayla Smith made the biggest jump up the leaderboard on the final day. The freshman moved ten spots to 23rd place after a final round 73 (+1), which is good for her career low round as a Musketeer.
Lindsey Murray finished tied for 39th. The sophomore shot a final round 86 (+14). Junior Rachel Johnson finished tied for 50th after a final round 80 (+8).
The Musketeers return to the course on Friday, April 8th for the Murray State Invitational in Murray, Kentucky.
