Musketeers post 11 top-10 finishes on Saturday
OXFORD, Ohio - Xavier track and field wrapped up action at the RedHawk Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Musketeers posted 11 top-10 finishes and had an individual champion in Gina Genco (3,000-meter steeplechase).

Caleb Hernandez - 400-meter dash (51.80), 7th place
Matthew Bryant - 100-meter dash (11.47), 7th place

Brenna McGrath - 100-meter dash (13.18), 10th place
Vanessa Johnson - 400-meter hurdles (1:11.93), 9th place

"The team had to deal with some rather tough conditions today at Miami, but I thought everyone did a great job of motivating one another, staying focused while still being able to pull out some good results."
"Gina Genco, racing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, probably had our best performance of the day. She led the race for most of the way and although she ran with one shoe untied she was still able to grab the win and set a personal best."
The Musketeers return to action at the Kentucky Relays on May 7 in their final tune-up before competing in the BIG EAST Championships.
