Women’s Golf Heads to Michigan for Marry Fossum Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Xavier women's golf team travels to Michigan today for the 33rd annual Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing. The two-day event will be played at the Forest Akers West Golf Course, which will be playing 6,236 yards and par 72.
The 12-team tournament field consists of the host team Michigan State, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Georgia Southern, Indiana, Miami (FL) , Northern Illinois, Ohio, Princeton, Western Michigan, and Xavier.
First round begins Saturday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and continuous play for 36 holes. The tournament format is stroke play.
