Xavier Men's Tennis Secures First Dual Match Win Over Wright State

Cincinnati, OH- Xavier men's tennis defeats Wright State 7-0 to pick up their first win of the 2017 season.

The Musketeers ended the drought and secured their first dual match victory, bringing them to 1-3 on the season. Jeremy Schneider and Jack Dykema won their No.1 doubles match 6-2. Matt Bishop and Gabriel Araujo were successful in their No. 2 doubles match winning 6-3. Schneider, Bishop, Dykema, Smith and Matthew Graft all won their singles matches.

Assistant Coach John Allare was very pleased with the Musketeers performance tonight.
"Our guys went out there and took care of business the way they were supposed to," said Allare. "It was good to get a win going into our match against a talented Dayton team."
