Xavier shoots 303 on the final day to finish in 12th Place

CARMEL, Ind. – Xavier men's golf wrapped up day two at the Crooked Stick Invitational on Tuesday, finishing 12th as a team. The Musketeers were led by freshman Garrett Wood as he finished T-28 with a three round score of 223 (+7).

Wood finished the tournament with a team-leading eight birdies, he carded four in the third round alone.

Senior Daniel Jaramillo had a consistent tournament with three rounds in the 70s. His final round 78, +6 was accompanied by 10 pars. Jaramillo tied for fourth in the field with 35 pars and led Xavier in this category.

TEAM RESULTS

The Musketeers finished the tournament in 12th place with a three day score of 927 (+63). Kentucky edged out North Florida by one stroke to win the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate.

This was Xavier's last competitive fall tournament of the season. The men pick up the spring season Feb. 24-26 out in Goodyear, Arizona for the Loyola (MD) Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club.
