MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - Xavier men's and women's swimming opened up action at WVU on Friday night, competing in seven swimming events on each side. The Musketeers collected six top-three finishes against BIG 12 opponent West Virginia and BIG EAST foe Seton Hall.

 WOMEN'S NOTABLE |
- Xavier opened the event with a third place finish in the 400 medley relay, finishing behind two WVU squads to post the top time in the conference so far this season.
- Emma Kauffeld picked up a first place finish in the 1000 free, touching the wall in 10:30.40.
- Caroline Gaertner finished second in the 100 back with a time of 57.13.
- Taylor Hogan took third in the 200 fly, finishing in 2:04.07.
- Emily Conners closed out the night with a time of 24.03 in the 50 free to take second.
