Women’s Golf Heads to Florida for Babs Steffens Invitational

DELAND, Fla. – The Xavier women's golf team travels to Florida today for the Babs Steffens Invitational in Deland. The three-day event will be played at the Victoria Hills Golf Club, which will be playing 5,907 yards and par 72.

The eleven-team tournament field consists of the host team Stetson, Boston, Brown, Butler, Charlestown Southern, Dartmouth, Elon, Florida Atlantic, Seminole State, Saint Leo, and Xavier.

Head coach Breanna Patz is sending two seniors and three underclassmen to go down to Florida. Mikayla Fitzpatrick will be in the number one position, followed by Grace Howie, Mikayla Smith, Rachel Johnson and Nina Kulkarni.

First round begins Saturday with tee times off of #10 beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET.
