Johnson Finishes Tied for Sixth, Team Fifth in Texas

MCALLEN, Texas – The Xavier women's golf team finished the final round of the UTRGV Invitational this afternoon. Rachel Johnson finished tied for 6th, one of five Musketeers to finish in the top-25.
Rachel Johnson finished tied for 6th, her third top ten finish of her career and first of the season. The senior led the team in pars with 32.
Grace Howie was the biggest mover on the final day. The senior moved up 21 spots to tied for 14th after a final round 72 (+1).
Nina Kulkarni finished tied for 14th with Howie. The junior led the team in birdies with seven.
A pair of Musketeers tied for 25th. Mikayla Fitzpatrick and Mikayla Smith both shot three day scores of 238 (+25).
