Women’s Golf Heads to Indiana for IU Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Xavier women's golf team travels to Indiana today for the IU Invitational in Bloomington. The two-day event will be played at the Indiana University Golf Course, which will be playing 5,884 yards and par 72.
The ten-team tournament field features the host team Indiana with an A and B team, Akron, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, IUPUI, Toledo, Western Michigan, and Xavier.
Head coach Breanna Patz is sending two seniors and three underclassmen to compete at the event. Mikayla Fitzpatrick will be in the number one position, followed by Grace Howie, Mikayla Smith, Rachel Johnson and Lindsey Murray.
First round begins Saturday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and continuous play for 36 holes.
