Xavier Men's Tennis Completes Weekend at ATP Invitational

MASON, Ohio - Xavier men's tennis completed the weekend in Mason, Ohio at the ATP Invitational with several victories in both singles and doubles play.

On Friday, the Musketeers secured seven singles wins and three doubles win. Freshmen Jan Vrba won singles flight two for Xavier, Brett Winters won his singles flight one match and Alejandro Rodriguez-Vidal won his singles flight three match. Senior, Gabriel Araujo, won two singles flight three matches.

In doubles play, sophomores Michael Lee and Nate Dell won their doubles flight three matches. Araujo and Jack Dykema won their doubles flight one match along with Winters and Vidal, who won their doubles flight two match.

On Saturday, the Musketeers won the doubles flight two bracket. Winters and Vidal defeated opponents from Dayton and Belmont.

Xavier men's tennis travels to Kalamazoo, Mich., on Saturday, Sept. 23 to compete in the Western Michigan Invitational.
