Anniina Äijänen Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Anniina Äijänen was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. The senior forward led the Musketeers to a 69-58 BIG EAST win over Providence on Friday, Jan. 19 at Cintas Center.
She scored a career-high 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds, her first career double-double. Äijänen has scored in double figures eight times this season.
Xavier continues BIG EAST action on Monday, Jan. 22 against Creighton. Tip-off is slated for 12 p.m. from Cintas Center.
