Men's Golf Returns to Action in the Chatham Hills Collegiate

CARMEL, Ind. - Xavier men's golf is heading north of Indianapolis this weekend for the first-ever Chatham Hills Collegiate. This weekend will be the Musketeers' first action since the Badger Invitational in early September. The team's last tournament, the UC Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club, was canceled due to inclement weather.

The Musketeers are led by Sophomore Garrett Wood. He is currently ranked 15th in the BIG EAST Conference with an average score of 74.33. Wood will look to move up in the rankings after only being able to play three rounds on the season.

Xavier will look to continue improving their performance in the same way they did in Madison. They will get a good look at a conference opponent in Marquette in the tournament this weekend as well.

FORMAT

The men will play 54 holes over two days at the event, beginning with 36 continuous holes on the first day and finishing with 18 on day two.

Sunday will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start while Monday is an 8:30 a.m. start off of holes one and ten.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS

11 total teams are heading into this weekend's tournament, including Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, IUPUI, Marquette, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, Rutgers, and Xavier.
