Men's Golf Finishes Out Chatham Hills Collegiate

CARMEL, Ind. - Xavier men's golf completed the last 18 holes of the first-ever Chatham Hills Collegiate on Monday afternoon. The team finished in 11th place after they carded a 309 (+21) in the third round and a 903 (+39) over the 54-hole tournament. The men posted 149 pars over the two-day meet.

Xavier was led by freshman Trey Rath, who posted back-to-back rounds at even par and finished in 36th place overall. He was tied for sixth in par 3 scoring at 3.00 (E) and led Xavier in total birides with 11. Rath added 31 pars over the 54 holes.

Michael Prebles finished the tournament tied for 48th overall after he carded a 228 (+12). He recorded 30 pars and eight birdies over the 54-hole outing.

Nick Frey carded a 230 (+14) for the two-day tournament and finished tied for 55th. He posted 27 pars and seven birdies for the tournament.

Garrett Wood carded a 232 (+16) and Martin Jaramillo posted a 233 (+17), respectively.

Xavier's individual golfer, Hunter Roberts, finished the tournament in 63rd after he carded a 235 (+19) over the 54 holes.
