Men's Basketball Gets In Its First Practice At The Game Site

Maui Jim Maui Invitational starts Monday.

MAUI, HI – The Xavier University men's basketball team got its first opportunity today to practice on the game floor for the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, which begins here Monday with Xavier vs. No. 9 Auburn. Lahaina Civic Center is the home of the tournament.

This is Xavier's first trip to the Maui Invitational. The Musketeers have won holiday tournaments in two of the last three seasons.

Here is a look at some highlights of today's practice and some comments from junior point guard Quentin Goodin on facing a talented and aggressive Auburn team.
