Trevon Bluiett's 26 points moves him into second on the all-time leading scorers list, passing David West
CINCINNATI – No. 4 Xavier fell, 95-79, to No. 3 Villanova on Saturday night at Cintas Center. Trevon Bluiett led four Musketeers in double digits with 26 points, as he passed David West for second most career points in Xavier history.
Xavier moved to 24-4 on the season and 12-3 in BIG EAST play. The loss moved the Musketeers to 16-1 on the season at Cintas Center. Villanova moved to 24-3 overall and 11-3 in BIG EAST play.

- Xavier open the contest with an 8-5 lead, led by J.P. Macura's back-to-back threes.
- Quentin Goodin led the Musketeers in the first half with six assists.
- J.P. Macura led Xavier with 10 points, shooting 66.7 percent from behind the arc and 75 percent from the field.
