• Nolan Daniels currently ranks eighth in the BIG EAST in the 800-meter run (1:52.57), while Grant Stapleton ranks 14th (1:53.46). On the women's side, Jenna Clayworth ranks sixth in the BIG EAST in the 5,000-meter run (16:57.48), while Anna Kostarellis ranks 14th in the 1,500-meter run (4:33.77).

"Last year was our first year at the Pacesetter Invitational, and despite cold and windy conditions the team preformed quite well. We're excited to head back this year, and with just three weeks until the BIG EAST Championship the athletes are ready to get out there and show what they can do. Following a great showing at Ball State last week everyone competing Saturday has the potential to have a big day."
"On the men's side, the two races to watch are Luke English in the 400 meters and Will Roberts in the 400 meter hurdles. Both guys got seeded in heats that have chances to be very fast, and as long as they compete well a couple of school records could be set to fall."
"The women's side features some great races across the board. Abby Fioresi is ready to have a big breakthrough in the 800 meters and the heat she is in gives her a great chance to do so. The same goes for Alondra Hoyos, who is in a position to win the 1500 meters. This is also the first time our women's side will compete in the 4x100 meter relay, and with such a strong showing in the short sprints last week I expect to see a great opening time."
Â
• Xavier returns to action at the RedHawk Invitational on Saturday, April 28.Â
The Musketeers will also participate in the Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational over the weekend.
