"We'll be using the Kentucky Relays this weekend as a tune-up for the BIG EASTÂ Championship. The majority of our athletes will be taking off this weekend but we will have nine athletes trying to improve on their marks for BIG EAST or get in another opportunity before their season ends."
Â
"This will be Zach Polk's second meet since injuring his hamstring so I'm looking for him to take a step in the right direction and to test things out a bit more. We can't take any risks with him this weekend but I'd like to see him closer to 100 percent effort before he gets to BIG EAST."

• Xavier returns to action at the BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 11-12. The two-day meet is being held at the SPIRE DI Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
