Xavier Basketball Hosts Training Camp For Fans On Saturday

Open practice begins at 11 a.m.
CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics has announced that this Saturday's men's basketball practice will be open to fans at Cintas Center beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Training Camp will provide a first-hand glimpse of Team 97, the 2018-19 edition of the defending BIG EAST Conference Regular Season Champions.Â
Doors at the main (south) entrance only will open at 10:45 a.m. The AFO Shop and Concession stands will be open, and there will be a photo station on the concourse for fans to take a photo with the 2018 BIG EAST Conference Regular Season Championship trophy.
The Ticket Office will be open with staff available to answer questions about 2018-19 ticket packages. Fans interested in joining Xavier Nation can select from remaining season ticket inventory, which will be tagged in Cintas Center during Saturday's event.
Fans are encouraged to park in the C-2 Lot in the Cintas Center East Parking Area.
Juniors Quentin Goodin and Tyrique Jones and sophomores Paul Scruggs and Naji Marshall, a 2018 All-BIG EAST Freshman Team selection, lead the returnees for first-year head coach Travis Steele. Steele was on the XU basketball staff for 10 years before taking over the top spot in March. Steele also welcomes back sophomore guard Elias Harden and a talented five-member newcomer class, including three graduate transfers that are expected to play major roles this season.
