Volleyball Adds Heitmeyer, Watson to 2019 Roster

The Musketeers will have five newcomers on the team next fall
CINCINNATI - Xavier volleyball head coach Christy Pfeffenberger has announced the addition of Hayley Heitmeyer and Ailsa Watson to the 2019 roster. The Musketeers will have five newcomers on the roster next fall.
Was a four-year varsity letterwinner... finished her career with 1,187 kills, 183 aces, 258 blocks and a .362 hitting percentage... helped her team post an 84-18 record over four seasons with two district titles and a regional final appearance in 2018... helped her team to four Putnam County League Titles... earned OHSVCA All-Ohio Division IV First Team Honors in 2018... was also named Ohio District 8 Player of the Year as a senior and Blanchard Valley Conference and Putnam Couth League Player of the Year... was a two-time all-conference first-team selection... also earned conference player of the year honors as a junior... earned All-District 8 First Team honors in 2017 and OHSVCA All-Ohio Division IV Second Team honors... was named to the Under Armour Watch List in 2017 and the Ultra Ankle JVA Watch List in 2018... finished her career with four school records: single-match kills, career aces, career blocks and single-season kills.

Played two seasons of college volleyball at Concordia University-Irvine... played in 108 sets in 2018... led the Eagles in assists (617) and aces (42)... added 1.81 digs per set... averaged 5.71 assists per set... appeared in six matches as a freshman... was a two-time All-Central Lakes Conference selection at Sartell HS... also earned all-area honors as a senior... was named a AAU All-American in 2017... finished her career as the school's record holder in assists (2,005).
