The sophomore guard scored a career-high 16 points on Friday night
CINCINNATIΒ - Sophomore Aaliyah Dunham matched her career-high in scoring on Friday night, posting 16 points in a 90-44 loss to No. 9/10 Marquette. The Musketeers moved to 10-9 (1-7 BIG EAST), while the Golden Eagles improved to 17-3 (8-0 BIG EAST).

β’ Marquette raced out to an early 29-7 lead at the 2:26 mark in the first quarter. Xavier hit its final three shots of the quarter to make the score, 34-13, heading into the second frame. Aaliyah Dunham paced Xavier with five points on 2-for-3 shooting in the opening quarter.
β’ Both teams scored 16 points in the second quarter to make the score, 50-29, at the break.Β
