Xavier to Host Blue Blob's Birthday Party

Come celebrate at the women's basketball game on Sunday, Jan. 27!
CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics will host their annual "Blue Blob's Birthday Party" at the Xavier women's basketball game on Sunday, Jan. 27. The Musketeers are set to take on the DePaul Blue Demons at 2:00 p.m. on FS2. Xavier Athletics and Xavier women's basketball have also partnered with the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (OCAGC) for a fifth consecutive year to spread awareness and participate in the initiative to fight ovarian cancer.
Fans are invited to celebrate the beloved mascot's birthday at the expanded Kroger Kids Zone in the Cintas Center Banquet Room pre-game and at halftime. Celebrate from 1-2 p.m. with Papa John's pizza, inflatables, prizes and much more! Fans can come back to enjoy the festivities again at halftime with Servatii cupcakes and a special "Happy Birthday!" to the Blue Blob.Â
The game on Sunday, Jan. 27 will also serve as the marquee event of the 8th Annual Teal Power Shootout, a series of local basketball programs participating in the initiative. You can learn more about the Teal Power Shootout and how to register at www.CincyOvarianCancer.org
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 3-17 and FREE to those 2 and under. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the ticket window on gameday. Discounted group tickets are available for groups of 15 or more starting at just $3 each and must be purchased in advance by calling 513-745-3389.
