Rath Cards Even-Par Final Round at UC Bearcat Invitational for Men's Golf

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's golf finished the final round of the UC Bearcat Invitational this afternoon with a 54-hole total of 900 (+48).

Ben Pirro was XU's top-finisher at the tournament with a total of 223 (+10). Pirro carded his first round at par-or-better this season in teh first round of the tournament on Monday. He led XU in par-3 scoring at 3.08 (+1) ad was tied for the Xavier lead in pars with 34.

Trey Rath ended the invitational with his best round at even-par (71) and finished one stroke behind Pirro. Rath recorded 1-under on par-5s with a 4.89 and added 33 pars over the outing. This was his fifth career round at par-or-better.

Brian Jennings finished his debut tournament for the Musketeers in a tie for 63rd. He was tied for most pars for Xavier with 34.

Nick Frey ended the 54-hole outing with a total score of 230 (+17). Frey recorded 27 pars and six birdies.

Imaad Qureshi finished in 73rd overall, respectively.

Xavier posted a total of 293 (+9) in the first round, a 303 (+19) in the second and a 304 (+20) in the final round to finish with a total of 900 (+48).

Louisville won the tournament with a 37-under score at 815.
