OVERALL
"We can't wait for our first trip back to Pre-Nationals since 2015. For the past three years I've taken our teams to Bradley instead of racing at Pre-Nationals for a number of reasons but I believe both squads are ready to compete at the level it takes to be successful at a meet of this caliber."
Â
WOMEN
"The women's team has an outstanding opportunity this weekend to race against 12 of the top 25 teams in the nation, including Colorado, the defending national champions. Additionally, there are 35 teams ranked in the top 10 within their region and over 20 nationally ranked individuals. Our women's team has a ton of momentum coming off their third-place finish at Louisville and we've made some significant improvements within our top seven since the Louisville meet. In a field this deep, our goals will be to beat teams ranked ahead of us in the region and individually remain focused in what will be the largest pack they've raced against this season."
Â
MEN
"On the men's side, we had a good team meeting after Louisville to reset and focus on the goals we set during pre-season. The guys brought a lot of energy into their workout sessions this week and I know they're ready for a better performance this weekend. We'll be counting on Hautz and Gardiner to lead the team, with Harless back in the lineup and our outstanding freshman to hopefully round out the top five."
Â
• Xavier returns to action at the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2 in Kenosha, Wis.
