WASHINGTON - Xavier men's soccer dropped a 1-0 match on Saturday afternoon at No. 13 Georgetown. The Musketeers moved to 5-6-1 (1-4 BIG EAST), while the Hoyas improved to 11-1-1 (4-0-1 BIG EAST).

NOTABLE

• The first-half goal for the Hoyas was the first allowed goal in the first half by the Musketeer defense this season.

• Xavier moved to 5-5 in the all-time series with Georgetown. The loss snapped a three-game win streak for the Musketeers in the series (regular-season matches).

• Xavier moved to 1-2-1 against top-25 opponents this season. The Musketeers are now 12-16-8 against United Soccer Coaches Top-25 opponents since the start of the 2010 season.

• Redshirt-junior Matthew Rosenberg (5-6-1) made 10 saves between the pipes. He has made 10 or more saves in a match twice this season.

• Seniors Samson Sergi and Jacob Goodall led the Musketeers with two shots (one on goal) each. The Musketeers posted seven shots (four on goal) in the match.
