Xavier drops three-set match to No.14 Creighton
CINCINNATI, OH. - Xavier dropped a three-set match (25-21, 25-18, 25-14) against No.14 Creighton. The Musketeers moved to 7-8 in the BIG EAST, while the BlueJays stayed on top of the conference with a 14-1 conference record.
• Eight Musketeers registered at least one kill with MaryAnn O'Toole, Moriah Hopkins and Lauren Hanlon leading the way with four each.
• Ellie Chaffee led the Musketeers in blocks with three, but Jayda Carlton, Kelly Franxman and Moriah Hopkins each registered two.
• Senior Madi Kutruff had the most digs with 18, despite only playing two sets as the libero. Alyssa Overbeck, who also wore the blue jersey, was second with 10.
• Xavier continues BIG EAST action against Providence tomorrow at 1:00 pm ET for Senior Day.
