CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 10-2, travel to Fort Worth, Texas, for a Sunday showdown with the TCU Horned Frogs, 8-2. The game is part of the annual BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle.
Xavier is playing its final non-conference game of the season at TCU. The Musketeers open BIG EAST Conference play on Monday, Dec. 30 at defending league champion Villanova.

• Xavier senior Quentin Goodin now has 492 career assists, tied for fifth in Xavier history with Dee Davis (492 from 2011-15) and just four assists shy of fourth-place Keith Walker (496 from 1976-80).
• Xavier's Quentin Goodin had a career-high 25 points vs. WCU on Dec. 18, hitting a career-high nine field goals out of 11 attempts, including 4-4 from 3-point range.
• Xavier junior Naji Marshall, who sat out the WCU game, leads the team in scoring at 16.9 ppg. (sixth in the BIG EAST) and in assists at 3.5 apg. (ninth in the BIG EAST) and is second in rebounding at 5.9 rpg. (11th in the BIG EAST).
• Xavier junior Paul Scruggs is second on the team in scoring at 15.2 ppg. (12th in the BIG EAST). Scruggs posted a career-high 30-point game at Wake Forest.
• Xavier senior Tyrique Jones, who is first in the nation in offensive rebounding (4.6 rpg.), leads XU and is fourth in the BIG EAST in overall rebounding at 9.7 rpg. Jones had a career-high six assists with 11 rebounds vs. Western Carolina on Dec. 18.
• Xavier junior Jason Carter, who has started each of the last 11 games, scored a Xavier career-high 16 points on 7-9 shooting to go with nine rebounds, four assists and four blocks vs. Western Carolina on Dec. 18.
• Xavier freshman Zach Freemantle, who blocked five shots in the win over UConn in Charleston, tied for team-high honors with 15 points vs. Lipscomb on Nov. 30. He contributed 13 points in 19 minutes vs. Western Carolina on Dec. 18.
• Xavier has graduated 109 straight men's basketball seniors.
