Sophomore A'riana Gray had 10 rebounds and eight points on Friday night
CHICAGOÂ -Â Xavier women's basketball dropped an 81-48 BIG EAST road matchup at RV DePaul on Friday night at Wintrust Arena. The Musketeers move to 11-15 (2-13 BIG EAST), while the Blue Demons improved to 20-7 (11-4 BIG EAST).

• Tied at 5-5 in the opening quarter, the Blue Demons scored 10 unanswered points to take their first double-figure lead of the game. DePaul led by as many as 11 points (19-8) before a Carrie Gross three pointer in the closing minute made the score 19-11 after one quarter of play.
• DePaul went 3-for-5 from the floor to open the second stanza, taking a 26-14 advantage and forcing a Xavier timeout. The Blue Demons outscored Xavier, 20-11, in the frame to take a 39-22 advantage into the locker room.
• Princess Stewart led Xavier with five points at the break, while A'riana Gray added four. Gray also had a team-high five rebounds.Â
• DePaul held a 25-16 advantage on the glass and had 14 more second-chance points (15-1) than Xavier.

• Xavier outscored DePaul, 7-5, to open the second half before the Blue Demons scored nine unanswered points to take a 53-29 lead at the 4:13 mark. DePaul hit 50 percent of its shots (10-for-20) in the frame to take a 65-34 lead into the final quarter.
• DePaul outscored Xavier, 16-14, in the final quarter to make the score 81-48. The Blue Demons held a 24-0 advantage in points off of turnovers and posted a 26-3 advantage in second-chance points.Â

• Junior Na'Teshia Owens led the Musketeers with 10 points on 4-for-9 shooting. The guard has now scored in double figures 14 times this season.
• Sophomore A'riana Gray nearly missed her 14th double-double of the year, scoring eight points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The forward added two steals. She now has 21 career games with 10 or more rebounds.
• Sophomore Princess Stewart added seven points and freshman Lauren Wasylson chipped in six. Sophomore Deja Ross added four points and eight rebounds.
